Connecting TaxCloud to Outdoorly

To start collecting taxes on Outdoorly, you will need to connect our store to your TaxCloud account. To do so, navigate to the TaxCloud settings screen, and click Stores & Websites.

Next click Add Store.

Add Outdoorly as a store with the following settings:

URL: https://outdoorly.com
Store Type: Other
Point-of-Sale system: Fancy

You should also provide a default Taxable Category and Taxable Item type. These settings determine what tax rate will apply to items you sell on Outdoorly. You can override this default for individual items on Outdoorly. See the article on collecting tax for more information.

Once you have created the store, you will need to mark it as “Live” in TaxCloud. TaxCloud recommends that you complete a test transaction before marking the site as live. You can safely ignore this step.

After the store is live, you will need to copy your API ID and API Key and enter them into the Policies page in the Settings Panel of the Merchant Dashboard. Once saved, your TaxCloud account will be fully connected!
