Outdoorly is a shopping platform that connects merchants and customers in a fun and engaging marketplace. Merchants use Outdoorly to enhance branding, market their products, and interact with customers and ambassadors. We only partner with brands who sell unique, quality products that we know and trust. Merchants are held to a high standard regarding sale management and customer service.
We pair directly with many outdoor certifying agencies to ensure our users are certified professionals. For professions without such an agency, we verify users using recent employment documents like paystubs. We ensure that only individuals who should be on the platform are on the platform. Our goal is not to take sales from retailers, but to drive sales at retailers.
You can decide which users you want to share your discounts with. However, since many professionals work all season in different outdoor industries, we recommend offering discounts to a wide professional audience.
Zero! For our early adopters, we won’t charge any membership fees or onboarding fees. This includes a gorgeous hosted website, access to our distribution and marketing channels, and access to Outdoorly's user base of trendsetters, associates, and influencers.
We try to maintain a curated marketplace, so please be selective with the products you add. We suggest smaller brands list up to 12-25 of their best-selling or “choice” products. Larger brands can use their best judgement. Just be mindful of the paradox of choice.
We recommend that product's lead image feature the product against a neutral color background. Lifestyle "editorial" images are welcome but should be used as secondary images.
You can add options in the 'Item Options' section of the sale setup. The option name should communicate the differentiating factor (e.g. Size, Color, etc).
Price is what the customer will see as the retail price before any applicable discounts. If you wish to run a special sale on your product, put the original price in the Price section and the new discounted price in the Sale Price section.
Under normal circumstances, you are paid out within 7 business days from when you enter tracking for all items in an order. Currently merchants located outside of the US will be paid at the end of each month. Please contact your Account Manager to orchestrate payment. We are working fast to better accommodate international payouts.
Purchase Verification is Outdoorly's fraud scanning system. If you have an order in Purchase Verification, do not ship the order until it has been cleared by our team. This process may take up to 5 business days. You will get a notification when an order needs this verification.

Some products will be featured dependent on our community determined popularity score, but if you are interested in featuring a specific product, please contact your Account Manager.
Make sure you are using the correct image size when specifying dimensions. If the dimensions are incorrect (too small), the image will be scaled and may appear blurred.
