Welcome to Outdoorly! We’re excited to have you as a partner.
This help article should direct you to the information you need to get setup on Outdoorly and ready to sell your first products. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out using the chat on this help documentation or get in touch with your Account Manager by email or phone. We’re happy to help!
The first thing you will see after creating your Outdoorly Merchant account is the Merchant Dashboard. This is the control panel for your Outdoorly store. It lets you manage your products, orders, and settings, view your store analytics, and run promotions. We’ve created a brief tour on the Dashboard that will walk you through each section and explain how it works.
After you are familiar with the Merchant Dashboard, you are ready to start setting up your store. You should start by filling in the most important settings using the Settings Panel of the Merchant Dashboard.
The most important settings are listed below. You can click on any of these to see the corresponding help page.
This basic information includes the name and phone number of the party responsible for managing the account.
The Brand Image settings determine how your store will appear to Outdoorly users. Most importantly, you will need to upload your brand’s logo and banner.
If you would like Outdoorly to collect sales tax on your behalf, you will need to use our third-party partner, TaxCloud. If you don’t wish to collect sales tax, you can ignore this step, however you will still be responsible for remitting any sales tax applicable in your jurisdiction.
To receive payments for orders made through Outdoorly, you will need to connect a payout account to our system. We use Stripe to handle these transfers, so you can be sure your data is safe.
After you have entered your settings, you are ready to add products to your store. You can create product listings manually, but the fastest way to add products will be to upload them using a CSV file or by syncing with a Shopify store. We have a help article on each method of Managing Products.
The last thing you need to do before selling products on Outdoorly is to learn how to handle customer orders. You can read about the Order Management system using our help article.
Once you have completed these short steps, you’re ready to sell on Outdoorly! If you have any questions, check out our FAQ or reach out to your Account Manager.
